Yeah sorry I just saw that then.
However that’s just one of the reasons why I don’t understand how anyone can think Amy was planning for Rorys happily ever after to be with anyone but Jess. She wanted him to have his own show to actually show his growth....the other 2 weren’t. __________________

that’s interesting though I just looked at a reblog that it’s similar to the Buffy spin-off and I agree

Thanks again for all of the lovely things.
I especially like this ‘ I’ve discussed this before but narratively speaking, I also like the role reversal/parallels of Rory, the one whose life is relatively stable, supporting Jess, the one whose life is a bit of a mess, while they were teenagers to now Jess is the one who is in a position to offer support to Rory. Let’s go friends to mess to lovers to exes to friends to lovers, let’s go!!’ I firmly believe they had Jess be the messed up guy that managed to get his life together on his own in order for him to be the one to guide her back when she is struggling in the later years. He knows how to help her...because he has lived it. I feel this isn’t dissected enough. __________________
