I particularly love her expression in that first clip when Jess is ripping off Luke's uniform.

That's one thing we haven't really discussed in here. What's everyone's opinion of Rory.

I love her.

I know she makes questionable choices and is entitled and all that jazz, however I think she is funny, sweet, and cute. I lover her nerdiness and that she doesn't long to be miss popular like a lot of young girls.

Even though Alexis isn't the best actress I find her awkward shyness endearing, and I think she has pretty good comic timing. I certainly have become emotionally attached to her character.

ASP said it would be boring to see Rory and Jess being married and pretty but I don't think that's what any fan expected. I expected to be watching them fall in love all over again, dealing with doubts and past hurts, it could have also created realistic tension between Luke and Lorelai, as opposed to what we got.

Instead she just shoves her back with Logan , without any explanation as to how that came about or why. I actually do find that comforting though. ASP couldn't give a dam about giving any meaning to their situation, as long as he is there to be the sperm donor and be a plot device to show how far she has fallen.

Not sure what these little mini fics are about but I am liking it.

Agreed, and really I have spoken to many gilmore girls fans that are neither RL or Lit shippers who said it was so predictable and repetetive to see her back with logan in the revival. And really her being with Jess at this point would have been more surprising and interesting to watch, its like ASP forgot that Jess was pretty much out of the picture in season 3, while Logan stayed around way longer... And also her again being "the other woman" and Logan dealing with his family expectations etc, has been done before...

I think, that Amy only wanted to show "her original ending". So, she had to create similar situation as in original series first.

The ending was always supposed to be open. Rory is pregnant with Logan (who moved on in the meantime) and improved Jess interested in Rory is in the picture.

t's bittersweet ending, because had Rory not been pregnant, she and Jess could have started very good relationship instantly. Now it will take years until Rory will be able to start new relationship (if she will be able to start it). She needs to resolve situation with child's father first.
