Thank heavens for fan fic huh.

I would love to have a crack at writing a fic, but this show and these characters are so complex and I certainly don't have a stash of literature or pop culture references to draw on.

There are a number of scenarios I would love to play with though.

I don't know. I need to see it actually play out on my TV screen. Reading it isn't enough. But I've enjoyed some over the years for different couples.

Hope you had a great holiday alljess.

What I love about fanfic is that the really good ones delve into their minds and emotions, which we don't get on the screen. I find, particularly with a character like Rory who doesn't really show too many extremes of emotion, it's very satisfying. Jess is a character who in my opinion has very deep emotions and thoughts, and it's always fascinating to read stories that explore and often torture him.

But I too still want to see a happy ending for them play out on screen.
