This has been on my mind all day, but how do you guys think Luke presented Lorelai with the ring in 6.01? What do you think he would've said/done? I know there are some fan fics on this, but I'm curious to see what you think. Do you think he used the chuppah? Do you think he noticed she was crying before and that changed his plans? I wish we could've seen this moment

He definitely would have noticed she was crying and he'd talk to her about that before proceeding with his plan. His main concern would be she's okay. I like the thought of him using the chuppah, along with the full moon

Yeah we only see the chuppah in that behind the scenes photo. I would love to have seen it actually still present in the garden, in one of the episodes. Even used it for their wedding, if we got to see the actual wedding and not the elopement the night before one.

Yeah I would’ve loved to see it in that location too
That would be perfect I think seeing it there before the elopement would’ve been some good foreshadowing too like right before Lorelai came back from doing Wild |

Yes, just see it there, have a shot of it in the garden and then thr scene could fade into the elopment.
