Right? He may be against her wacky ideas at first if it involves him (of course he will set everything up for her!), but when he realises how happy it will make her, he will be smack in the middle taking part. I would LOVE to have seen them play that skit out.

Look at their house in AYITL. It's completely decked out in lights. We know Lorelai wanted those lights and Luke 100% put them all up.
