Then episodes 7.06-7.09 air during sweeps.

Lorelai didn't say anything about Luke that wasn't true. He did shut her out of his life. I didn't see it as bashing

I really like Rory and Logan together. Was it just me or did anyone notice that she was so much comfortable with her body contact than usual when hugging and kissing Logan. I am not even saying it's a Logan thing. I've seen her pull her body back when kissing Dean or looking uncomfortable hugging Luke. I hardly saw her with Jess, so I am not going there. LOL

It was nice to see Lorelai being communicative for once. I'm really enjoying her and Christopher thus far, as they seem to have forged a deeper connection.

Rory and Logan were -- for lack of a better word -- adorable. 'Nuff said.

Wow, this episode was WONDERFUL.

I have been turned off by the show since around season four... I have to say, this is the best it's been in YEARS.

Rory and Logan are absolutely adorable together. I wasn't sure how I felt about them before, but I found myself saying "awww" out loud. S7 has definitely brought back all my Rory-love!

The town thing was cute, short, and simple, I liked it! And yes, Luke's new hat -- THANK GOD.


The best part? Lorelai and Chris. Wow. They are just too adorable. The bantering was perfect, the little fight and makeup were top notch. And of course, the happy family. Wow.

This is how Gilmore Girls should always be.

It looks like Lorelai looses 50 IQ points whenever she´s around Dopey. This is really sad and hard to watch. When will she finally see that she´s only lying to herself ???

Hey actually she was herself in this episode more then last. She at least told Chris off for the stunt he was trying to pull with GiGi and Sherry. But ya shes still different.

GG scored approximately 6 minutes out of 44 for me this week. Sad.

Lorelai does not seem truly happy. She’ll put up with the awful pickle smell rather than risk seeing Luke? She’s wearing plaid? Her attitude?

She also seems to have lost her brain and her integrity. I didn’t like last season’s year-long overdose of sad faces any more than anyone else. But is this hypocrisy really better?

I’d like to be able to give Lorelai kudos for trying to move on, trying to be happy, but she’s doing it at the expense of her brain and her integrity.

Exact minute when this show lost it? When Lorelai said Luke wasn’t like Sherry because he was only 16 when Rory was born and he deserted his child..

What about when he was 21, 22, 23, 24 .... all the way to 38? He deserted Rory for 22 long years. Lorelai didn’t used to be dumb.

I’m starting to feel like Lorelai deserves whatever she gets with Christopher, and I hate that feeling. I used to love to watch LG play happy Lorelai, that’s many of the show’s best moments. But this price is too high to pay. Maybe Lorelai has lost her brain, but I haven’t lost mine.

I can suspend disbelief to watch a TV drama. But I’m finding that I can’t suspend my brain. I know this show, all six years, and they keep crowding back in. I try to forget, so so I can enjoy, but that’s not the way we used to watch Gilmore Girls. Maybe one needs to be like Lorelai to enjoy this, be capable of forgetting the past. It’s the only way to watch this travesty.

So, i don't think i need to say i thought the episode stunk too. That's obviously the consensus. But there are two parts that I really loved...

[B]caf[B], i agree, richard's excitement about seeing the pics on loralai's cell had me bawling.

I also love the whole "work dork," "work dork lover" thing between rory and logan.

And did anyone notice, they mentioned myspace in the epi? i had a feeling that would happen eventually.
