They were talking about how the carriage ride reminded Richard of a roller coaster and how they should go on one now to which Emily, after much bellyaching, gave in and agreed. Richard was quite pleased with himself and his powers of persuasion. Loved that scene!

Aww, I love holiday episodes if they’re done right and there was a lot to appreciate in that episode.

I just see them as filler episodes and I much rather an episode that furthers the storyline. Thanksgiving and Christmas are very commercialized in the United States, but not so much everywhere else.
