I have a question: has it been mentioned what Paris' religion is? I can't remember. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

From Episode 3.10 "That'll Do Pig":
Paris: I mean, I’ve never had a Christmas before. One year, I asked my mother if we could get a Chanukah bush. She made me watch Shoah the rest of the week. So I'm assuming Paris is Jewish. __________________

Since it is a fic, you could always make that detail A/U...

Does anyone know what Lorelai and Rory are referring to when they refer to "Heather"? It's been mentionned a few times (most notably, "watch your damage heather!" in 4.22 and "heather has two mommies"-or something to that effact- in 5.03).

Different Heather's but it's funny that you point that out!
"What's your damage" comes from a 1980's (?) movie starring Winona Ryder. It's about this group of perfect girls - all named Heather, of course - and Ryder plays a 'Veronica' who gets sucked into their group, for better or for worse. "What's your damage" is sort og an 80's slang alternative to "What's your problem" or "What's your issue?" Heather has Two Mommies is a children's book that's a few years old, about a kid named Heather who's parents are gay women. It comes up a lot in pop culture references to same-sex marriages and child-raising. Emily __________________

I was wondering about what movie the line "Louis, I think this is the beginning of a wonderful friendship." is from. Rory says it to Tristin in The Third Lorelai.

It's from Casablanca.

Ok, I've been wracking my brain and I can't think of where this line is from: "Alright, but no taking me to an art museum after hours and then to an empty Hollywood bowl where you give me a pair of diamond earrings that you bought with your college money when all the time you're really in love with your best friend, the drummer, who's posing as our driver for the evening."
