It burns you out.” However, the fast- paced lines helped her in the future. “It’s amazing what your brain can do if you practice. I still race through dialogue, even at auditions. I have to slow down and talk like normal people.” Rory Gilmore was a very chatty, outgoing character unlike Alexis Bledel in real life. During photo shoots Bledel is particularly shy. “(You) do these stupid movements to make the dress look cute. Everyone’s standing around watching. You just feel ridiculous sometimes. I don’t like being the center of attention!” Gilmore Girls lasted six seasons. Thanks for bringing the interview over! It was pretty much everything I expected. I TOTALLY respect her need for bigger things and Lauren's need for a more flexible lifestyle, but it's still disheartening to see a lack of passion for the show in their interviews. Sometimes I can't figure out if I'm only seeing that because I'm so into this show or if it's really there, but comparing their interviews to Scott's and Kelly's, they just really pale in comparison. It makes me sad.

I still don't understand any of the reasoning given of the RL breakup. When I graduate from college, I hope I will NOT be embracing the "Gilmore" notion of ambition vs. love.

The only Gilmore in this weeks podcast was a small mention of the tv movie (at about 35:30), that it was more likely than the VM one but probably unlikely to happen, they didn't go into details. Also right at the end then made mention about complaints that that Lauren was not on the dream ballot, again no details or emails read out.
