General Character/Couple Unappreciation Thread
 

This thread may be used for unappreciation of any character/couple that doesn't already have an anti thread.

I really didn't like case study #12 from season 1

Yea, and I thought Kid #3 was really annoying.

I'll never get those hours of my life back. Completely pointless and/or annoying. That goes for all but 10% of Taylor's scenes too.

Here's my list of characters who reeked:

1. Tobin - The main reason I hate him is because he took up valuable screen time that should have been spent on some Lorelai birthday scenes. If he ever reappears I will turn off the show forever.
2. Dwight - Is he still their neighbor? Yes, he really added a lot to the overall storyline.
3. The Harvard brother/sister(Springsteens) - Application Anxiety gave us our first truly bizarre characters.
4. Every extra weirdo from the Festival of Art thing -
the strange guy in the audience, the lady who stared at Rory.
5. Clara - Sure, I was glad that Rory made her cry, but who can ever forget her obsession with horses.
6. Bootsy - Luke's rival? This was the best they could do?
7. Bruce - We had two, yes, two episodes with her. We don't get to see Sookie actually give birth but we get Bruce. Yay!!!
8. Beau - So far, we have seen Jackson's brother and cousin, but still no cousins for Lorelai, no Gigi, no Emily's sister. Okay, that makes sense.
9. Francie - Her act got old.
10. Jackson - His voice grates on my nerves. Sookie could do better.
11. Tristin - I know he has a lot of fans here, but he's annoying.
12. Kyle - Go away and never return!
13. Zach and Brian - More of Amy's friends, I suppose.

I'm probably the only one here...but Jason gets on my nerves BIG TIME!

Oh, honey, the worst part is he's in the opening credits. But on this board that garner's him an entire Unappreciation thread devoted to not liking him.

Curly, I like your list.

You know what bugs the freakin hell out of me? When they use two or three actors for the same role (Ceasar) or the same actor for more than one role (Alex Borstein). It comes off as moronic.

Does Taylor count? I hate him! I agree with the list!

Ninety-nine percent of the whole list--past and future. They take valuable time away from the people I truly care about. Boring!!

But still, whats with all the hate on this board now? 'Unappreciation' this and 'unappreciation' that... its kinda sad.

I agree with you Emily, this board has indeed become sad. That's all I'm seeing here too. Unappreciation this and unappreciation that. I'm all for a few complaints... but all this board has become is one big gripe. It's like we're saying, "watch Gilmore Girls.. you'll love it and hate it at the same time"!

Aw cmon now Kitty - you better than anyone should know that this persistent grouchiness is only a phase and will pass when the hiatus is over. Give it time - but after that if its still all grouchy i'll go with you :p

I couldn't resist bringing back this thread.

I unappreciate Tobin, Glenn and Doyle. Sookie and Jackson don't need a nanny. I'm sure that Lorelai would love to babysit, and we would all love to see her do it. Why have Glenn? Marty should work at the paper. He's cute, sweet, funny and likeable. No one cares about Doyle and his failed interviews.

Two more to add. They aren't worth even looking up the names of but the rabbi/minister duo with the rabbi getting a slight edge on being more annoying just simply because their attempts to have him talk "jewish" was so patheticly written. I hope we never ever see any of those two again.
