In London atm. First few days have been great. We saw a lot of stuff and made a bunch of photos. Still 3 days left. We are both having a big cold tho...like having a cold in Rome wasn't enough :( Alladin was great, the effects were awesome and we really liked the cast/songs, etc.

Aww, that sucks y'all have caught a cold. :( I hope you get to feeling better soon! I'm so jealous, one of these days I'll be able to experience London for myself.

That's always frustrating to have a cold/be sick on a trip. Feel better soon! Glad you're enjoying it still.

We've still got two days left, but decided to just stay in the hotel/near the hotel for those days to make sure we feel a bit better when we fly on Saturday. Flying with a cold is a bitch (last vacation I had to flew home with a cold from Rome and my ears wouldn't unclog for a week), so trying to lessen the effect. We've seen pretty much what we wanted to see, so that's nice.

That's good that you are able to relax the last couple of days. Have a safe trip home!

Thank you! We went home a day early. By train. Cold didn't improve and didn't want to risk it with my ears. It was a nice experience actually; train ride was way more comfortable than a plane ride. Think it was even faster if you include the waiting time at the airport/drive from airport to home/hotel.

The train to and from London is very relaxing, especially with the Eurostar going directly back to Amsterdam now.

Train ride took us three hours, plus 30 minutes of checking in and waiting at Kings Cross train station.

Glad you're feeling better, Ingmar. That train ride isn't that bad, I might be doing it when I'm in London? I definitely think I'll be flying into London because it's cheaper and less time in the air.
