Since I'm right now re-watching season 2 I again am discovering that I'm not the biggest fan of Jess and therefore not too happy about Jess' attitude towards Luke at the moment. I know that it gets a lot better but right now I simply feel sorry for Luke and some part of me for Jess as well. I don't even recall anymore if there was some big moment that changed everything or if it was a slow process.
 I guess I'll be surprised.__________________

I think it was a slow process and had a lot to do with Jess growing and maturing. Because yes, he was pretty awful to Luke at times.

You know I think by the end of this Luke and Jess have a healthier, closer relationship than Lorelai and Rory. I feel like Jess and Luke could say what they really think and feel to each other without fear of damaging the relationship, but I don’t quite get that with Rory and Lorelai. And things like Luke picking up that Jess still might have a thing for Rory, yet when Rory hints to Lorelai that she had been seeing ‘you know who’ , expecting her to know it’s Logan but Lorelai had no idea. Lorelai doesn’t seem to be as in tune with what Rory’s feeling as Luke is with Jess.
