Good point. They may have been more troubled teens (although a lot of that is speculation on Luke's part, however there are some canon references to him being Jess-like), but they turned out to be great, responsible adults.

A perfect moment for these 2 and by the end of this I feel they had a closer and healthier bond than Rory and Lorelai.
