gluglug, huge yay for continuity from me too
And I also was hoping for Luke to adopt Snuggles2

On the Dean/Rory thing, I too think it's too sad that he's still hung up on her. And I don't wish for them to come back together, because Rory's moved on and this is not Ally McBeal... But their scene was cute!!!

And do you think Lorelai will be a little resented towards Jason? I mean, if Emily feels like that it's partly because of Jason, so maybe Lorelai will try to slow down Jason a little bit on the Richard issue. Maybe a fight... hehehehe.

Edited because I misspelled a name... and it was really embarrassing.

HEY! Lurkers are cool. (Um, yeah, I'm de-lurking to say that. What are you looking at?)

I just wanted to thank you all for discussing all the great moments last night...I've never hated the DC/Baltimore area WB more than I did last night when GG got preempted by frickin' basketball (well, I hated them more when Angel got cancelled, but that's a rant for another thread). So please, keep talking about it until I get to see it on Saturday!

Anyway, eavesdropping on your conversations keep me sane at work, so thanks!

Ooh, freaky. But it's ok, because I count on everyone on the net being able to read what I post, so... I always think some lurker might be reading what we post. But it's weird when they delurk all of a sudden!

Sooooo, Valerina, welcome and, please, delurk completely!

There were greeeaat JJ moments, I just rewatched the moment where Lorelai hands Luke the rose and he smells it. It's really intimate.

The rose thing was really cute. Someone on another board said it reminded them of "The Bachelorette". If this was indeed some sort of shout out by DP, does this mean that Lorelai chooses Luke?

I like how she's been all appreciative of him lately. She seems to be taking him for granted less and less and realizing what a "knight in shining armor" (or flannel) he is to her.

It's apparent that Luke does so many things for her b/c he wants to make her happy (and loves her, duh!). The fax line, the money, fixing stuff. He does it all for her.

Hi Valerina. Don't let all the freaked out people get to you. Lurkers are cool. But de-lurk more often, ok . It's fun here. And now you know what to be looking for when you finally see the episode. That sucks it got preempted. The L/L scenes were soooo good, like everyone's already said.

(And Mandy, I only think it's funny that lurkers freak you guys out 'cause I've never really seen people talk about it being weird to have people lurking out there. I guess I never really thought about it since I'm usually the lurker . Plus there's that whole 'always thinking people are looking at me anyway' thing that I mentioned before. Just think of it as having secret admirers, not stalkers. )

Sorry I'm all rambly. I'm all excited 'cause I just got my Roswell DVD. In case you guys didn't know I'm completely obsessed with the show. I'm all goofy happy .

Later,

Hey JJ's, it's been to damn long- I've been absorbed into the wonderful world of college....yay...and now I'm applying to Uni. But hey- I had to come out of lurkmode to share with you my joy for the Luke/Lorelai scenes this season.

That is *such* a weird sentence. I can just imagine... leather leopard print thongs for granny!

Valerina- You're not a ballerina are you? Valerina the Ballerina.... sorry.

Hey Elisabeth! How's it been going? Good, hopefully... and I can't see the picture that you've posted either. And hey guys, it's her birthday on Friday so wish her a good one! Hope you have a great birthday, and come by more often. (Funny because when I was doing the opening post I was seeing if we had any upcoming birthdays and you were one of the ones that I thought 'well they aren't around anymore so I can't say anything' but here ya are.) Jenna- I agree the amount of L/L screen time is great but I'm starting to doubt it and wonder if they are just teasing us and it's good to be true!

I can't see the picture either!

I actually have thoughts on the episode but not even time to write them maybe tomorrow!

You can't help but think ASP is going to really let us have it soon....May sweeps. But I sure like what we're getting right now. Even lots of Luke time alone. He's getting out of the diner and really reacting to people. I'm happy to see more of him.

It really does feel like the time is nearing quickly... ASP always said she would just let things flow, but of course throw wrenches in. I don't want any more wrenches, because this season has been JJ goodness as good as we have ever seen.

If not by season's end, then geez, I really don't know. There is an entire next season to deal with, but hey, I have no problem with seeing Luke and Lorelai together, although a lot of that "tension" driving the show will be transformed.

I didn't mean let us have Luke and Lorelai soon....I meant throw in some wrenches during May sweeps. It is so nice right now....but that can't conitnue.

I guess we can expect Jason back a least for part of next season. He is Richard's partner...we'll see how the rest of this season goes.

I wouldn't mind Luke having to go after Lorelai a little. No triangle....so who knows what will happen.

[rant]Ok, what is wrong with my parents? Seriously! I had exactly 2 hours of sleep last night.. Alexis just didn't want to sleep! Finally about 4am she decides it's time to sleep.. then at 6am my dad decides to wake up, not only me and Alexis, but also Karissa and Kevin, with the blaring tv.. at 6 in the morning! So then, after 2 hours of sleep, I had to deal with two screaming, hungry kids! A few more weeks I'm out of this house.. thank god! Oh, and to top this off.. I had school last night, which wasn't bad, but my dad got on my computer last night (and he has his own computer with internet) and did something funky to it because now the colors and resolution is off on any video I play.. I checked everything, so now I have to wait until Kevin wakes up to check out my computer so I can watch last Tuesday's episode.. which I haven't been able to watch all of yet! I'm about to pull a classic 'only child syndrome' and deem my computer as 'MY COMPUTER' which no one else can use but me! Except Kevin since he's the only one who can fix it![/rant]

Oh, where do I start?

I love me a Luke! Luke and Lorelai's scenes were one of the best I've seen.

Luke was pretty testy and defensive about Nicole! I detect some guilt here. Something big is about to hit the roof! In the tvguide and wb.com descriptions, Luke gets into a fight with Nicole next week.. I can just imagine what that fight is about! It was really sweet how Luke loaned Lorelai the money and didn't make it formal.. but something like a gift. I like that Lorelai mentioned Nicole and payment plans. The thank you on the napkin, Lorelai's face and Luke's smirk at the end was priceless.

aww! Luke is Lorelai's knight in shining armour! You can see Luke beaming when Lorelai said that. And the
'Lo: Can I use my laptop here?
Lu: Does it make noise?
Lo: No, but I sometimes do.
Lu: You always do.'

Dirty!

The fax line reminded me of something a wife would insist... kind of something Emily would do for Richard's office whether Richard used a fax or not!

I love it when Lorelai does voices. Is it just me.. but when I watched the email/British accent scene.. the mannerisms and voice was more Lauren than it was Lorelai. I don't know, I just saw Lauren in that scene. It was funny.

At the end.. you can see how much Luke understood Lorelai and her relationship with Emily with all those purchases on his table.

Lu: Did you pour your own coffee?
Lo: Oh yeah.
Lu: You're not suppose to do that.
Lo:Oh really? Sorry. I wont do it again.
Lu: mm hmm.

That was so cute, the natural flirting. And how Luke brought the plates out for the pie that he knew Lorelai served herself. Lorelai is so comfortable in Luke's diner and Luke has no problem with that! I love the rose scene and how Luke smelled the rose as he was walking away.

Emily.. I feel so sorry for her! Richard is having a mid-life crises and taking her for granted and Emily feels useless. Her scene with Lorelai was touching. I love how she and Rory said they admire Lorelai's life. Now there's a compliment!

Trouble is brewing with Emily and Richard.. especially it seems that Jason is in the middle of it. I wonder if Lorelai will start resenting Jason.. maybe unknowingly pushing Lorelai towards Luke.

Didn't care for the band or Lane's cousin. Dean-o, Lindsay and her mom are so sweetly pathetic I had to laugh! I actually don't mind Dean when he's in scenes other than with Rory. Though I wish they didn't make him into someone pining over Rory. In a way, I don't think Dean is totally aware of it.

Is that it.. a few things I haven't watched yet.. I jumped around the episode. After Kevin fixes whatever is wrong with my computer, I can then go watch it.. although, Kevin's laptop here is neat. I should go Kevin's route.. he doesn't let anyone else touch his laptop!

KITTY, it will be better soon. I'm excited for you!!

This was one of the very best L&L episodes....ranks up there with Forgiveness And Stuff. They are so good together....the end,, you felt like they were already a family.

So what will ASP throw at us next to undo all this?

We do need something big to happen between Nicole and Luke. It's time...someone has to end the madness....but will the fight end it? I'm anxious to see. Luke definitely copped an attitude with Lorelai about Nicole....hope things have been building up on that front.

I'm glad Lorelai brought Nicole's name into it. She has always seen the marriage as real....a gentle reminder to Luke that he is part of a pair now....even if he doesn't see it that way. His reaction spoke volumes.

Cheryl, thanks! I've useed the word 'sucks' so many times around here that it has lost all meaning to me!

Lorelai sees more of this as a marriage than Luke does. Even though she doesn't particularly care about Nicole.. she knew she had to bring her up.

Something is definitely up between Luke and Nicole. Though I don't think it's something that is between Luke and Nicole.. but rather Luke's feelings have been changing.. that there is something up with him on the subject of Nicole and this marriage. The guy just gave $30,000 to his best female friend and doesn't want his wife to know about it. I'm sure he thought about this, went over the guilt and is wondering about how he really feels about Nicole and being married.

I can see Luke defending his decision to give the money to Lorelai and defending his relationship with Lorelai to Nicole next week. From the past, Luke doesn't like to be reminded of his feelings for Lorelai.

Wacky Buffy! I can see your art now. I love it.
