For those who have not read Patrick O'Brian's novels about Jack Aubrey - Master and Commander is the first. The squared-rigged ship that Aubrey is Master and Commander of is called Sophie. Those that crew in her refer to themselves as Sophies. It is the ship where Jack Aubrey first makes his name. So, it is in that spirit that those who ship the Master and Commander and His Lady be known as: Sophies. You Know You Are An Addicted Sophie when: 1) There is never enough R/L interaction. 2) Withdrawl can be lethal. 3) It causes dillusions, hysteria, visualization of pretty colors, extreme emotions, & other symptoms. 4) Once you start, you can't stop. 5) Prolonged Sophieness can cause one to feel alienated from loved ones and peers, thus causing them to spend large amounts of time on the boards just to feel part of a larger group. 6) Use of terms and overactive imagination/gushing can cause weird looks from Non-Sophies. 7) A selfhelp group might be necessary (eventually). 8) You've watched the R/L scenes so much, when you see a music video of them and theyre talking, you say their lines. 9)You can liken anything (pop culture, food, personal expirience, etc...) to R/L and actually have it make sense... to both oneself and others. 10) You have tendencies towards obsessiveness and/or dirtymindedness that are usually associated with Matt, Naked!Logan, etc. 11) You have a strange fascination with the  and  smilies and  on occasion, the smilie.12) You develop psychic bonds with your fellow Sophies. 13) You can't go more than a half hour with a Sophies icon. 14) You spend half of your classes reading Sophie forums, and the other half typing your fanfic. I loved the promo. Especially the scene when they're walking together because they look all couplely and stuff.
 But Logan looks a hot mess.  I'm sorry guys. The hair and robe...just isn't working for me.  About the episode: they are TOO cute together and I loved how they had that little bet going on. Heehee. I'm giddy. __________________

Omg
Less than 24 hours before I get to see the episode. I've been going crazy for the past hours on these boards reading the posts to find out what was happening. I'm soooooooo excited that Logan is in this episode. And the promo for next week looks good....the picture wasn't very clear but it sounded very promising for our couple.

not only was unexpected logan great...but hew was mentioned quite a few times...and when rory was going back to yale early...i loved lorelai telling rory to go..i forget the exact quotes...but lorelai was teasing rory...and now i'm just ramabling.

Aww, I can't believe I missed two Logan scenes. One is bad enough, but two? Siigh.
I DL the promo, and it looks great. I love Logan being unhappy about her being there with Robert. And where they're walking at Yale? They really do look like a couple. |

ok. can I just say that I should probably be going to sleep right about now, but I can't because I'm too amped up from watching GG. I completely wasn't expecting to see Logan tonight, so I was pleasantly surprised.
And that promo for next week? I can't wait. :-Dthis may sound sad but because of tonight's episode, I think I'm gonna go to sleep with a smile on my face. __________________
