I'm from Germany and just 14 so it is a little bit difficult but I'll try.

Why are you a C/L shipper?
Because Chris is the only one for her. They belong together.
They've got the self kind humor. Chris is the one who understands Lorelai.
They complement each other perfect.


How would you like C/L to be at the end of the series?
I wanna them together and happy. But I don't think that's gonna happen'... unfortunately.
LC can't just be freinds...there's no way. They have to be together or nothing


How long have you been a BB, either in spirit on this thread?
I'm BB from the beginning. I never liked Luke. But when I saw Chris the first time I thought: "Wow. That's the only one for Lorelai" The chemistry beetween them was just awesome. And Chris is a very interesting character.

What is your favorite C/L scene or quote?
Oh I really love the Balcony scene in Christopher Returns. And all s2 scenes.


What scene turned you into a BB shipper?
I was BB from the beginning. But when Chris left Lorelai at the end of s2 I knew she can't live without him!

I'm reading a lot in your thread and now I want to post with you guys sometimes
I really like the new board style. I'm okay with Luke on the graphic but Chris should also be there. I mean he belongs to the Gilmore family. He is married to Lorelai. It's weird Sookie is on the banner but no Lane.
I began to like LC at the end of season 2. It wasn't his fault Sherry got pregnant

I think the pics are okay, no matter whose on it. And I agree with you about the end of S2. Whatever Chris would have done it wouldn't have been right. But I'm glad that he decided to stay with his daughter and not with Lorelai although I think it would have been his only chance to have a successful relationship with Lorelai.

Stupid question, how can I change Narco BBs answers into a single post to add it to the opening post, do you know what I mean?

And yeah the sig shows my true feelings. This episode was so cute. I'm just a little bit stunned about the one hour thing people talked about. That it all happened from 4 o'clock a.m. till 5 o'clock a.m. is just weird.

What do you guys think about the other couples on the show?

I would have liked Marty and Rory. I don't know why but they were cute. Uhm for LL I hope hey find their friendship back. I liked Luke with Rachel. Sad she didn't come back A child with her would have fitted a lot better than to bring Anna into the picture. I don't like her.
Rory and Logan are ok too but she's a little bit whiny this season. But it's great she loves her parents together

You know what bothers me the most? That Dave isn't in the credits He so belongs there. I mean not even Michel or Sookie are this often on sceen but in the credits. The same goes for Lane. So so sad Sure Chris wasn't around this often in the last seasons but even Digger was in the credits and just there for one season.

Uhm how do I get an icon?

I don't ship a couple. I'm shipping Lorelai cause I'm obsessed with Lauren. But I like Chris and no matter which man Lorelai will pick at the end I'm all in. But I don't want to see Chris leaving the show like a jerk if his realtionship with Lorelai doesn't work it and I fear we'll see this.

You can get an icon when you've more than 100 posts...

And to your question which couple I would ship........hm, Rory and Jess and Lorelai and Kirk would be awesome (okay I'm kidding with the second one)

And you're right David deserves to be in the opening post. Even Chris Eigeman (Jason) was there...

BB_lover- My main ship is C/L!!!!!!!! Loved them from the start of "CR".

I do like Rory and Marty. I find he can bring Rory up and out of herself, altho ultimately I find Rory an annoying twit, and rather selfish, so I don't want to inflict her on Marty. That guy is sweet, smart, kind, and caring, he is really too good for Rory.

I adore Lane and Zach!!!!!!!! They are perfect together. They are sweet. They also get each other’s passion of music. They just fit together. They are open and honest. They will get thru life together. Anything life has in store for them you know they will be there to face everything together. They just make me smile as the wonderful, uncomplicated, loving little couple. They do have a lot of depth with their love for music and it's awesome they have the other to share it with.

I also love Brain and the exchange student. I feel both Zach and Brain have found true love with Mrs Kim's "Children". Brain and K (don't know her full name) are really a more less-hard core music couple version of L/Z. They like softer more commercial music. They come together over there love of that tho. Plus, they are both much more shy and retiring. They are not all that savie about things. They are gently tender with each other. Also they both enjoy the whole Korean traditional lifestyle to a level.

So those are my ships.


I wish Chris was in the credits this season too!!!!!!!!! After his consistent work throughout the seasons, he deserves to be finally recognized for his efforts, now he is in most eps.

So you don't ship couples huh? Well it's easier this way. So you'll be happy no matter what. But Chris is great isn't he? You have to admit that he's like Lorelai. That's why they fit as a couple.
And that Chris isn't a jerk he won't leave the show this way. I mean they can't turn him into something he's not. Otherwise it would make me sad, because I want Lorelai to be happy. Yes she was happy with Luke at first and Luke is a nice guy but I got the impression they had more trust into each other when they were just friends. Something got lost after she proposed. With LC it's just that they fit as a couple so well that I can't imagine any loss of trust while being with each other.

Oh. That will take a while.

He is around a lot. But maybe DR didn't want to change the opening credits because it was the only thing left Amy did? Would that make sense?

Would you guys have thought Amy would bring Chris back? I really lost my hope on that but then it just happened and I was the happiest person ever

I don't know if Chris not being in the credits had anything to do with Amy. It was more like the wanted to keep Chris as a second player in official status. It's so sad!!!!!!! Given his amount of screen time he is so a main person. I guess they didn't want to formalize the notion with having Chris in the credits.

I think Amy wanted Chris back in S7. He was contracted him for a number of eps when she was still to be running things. And give the spot she left C/L in at the end of S6, some appearance by our guy was to be a given. I don’t think she would have done the wedding thing tho.

How old are you, BTW????? I’m 23. You don’t have to tell me your age, if you don’t feel comfortable. I’m just curious.

I haven't been here in awhile because of work. It has been very hectic.

I got a pleasent surprise when I came home work from work today. There were a envelope from the States so I knew it only could be from Lauren or David. When I opened the envelope I saw it was from David. I both recieved a letter and a picture from him.

I scanned both of them in so you could see them.

Can someone add me to the BB list? I've been posting on this thread for a little while, but I don't think I ever asked to be added. But I'm definitely a Chris and Lorelai fan!

When I have more time I'll answer the reasons for why I like them.

Linda, that's wonderful that you got a letter and picture from David Sutcliffe. He's definitely very good looking! I found out he was raised in Grimsby and St. Catharines, Ontario--I lived in Grimsby until I was six and I go to school in St. Catharines!
