I was watching "I can't get started" and these two are oozing with chemistry. I hated how pathetic and whiny and weak they made chris in later seasons but in the first two seasons he was perfect.
They could have had lorelai explore a relationship with him more seriously. And wasn't he originally going to be the love interest on the show? __________________

I think the writers wanted to do more with him but he couldn't be a regular earlier

Oh... that explains a lot. I felt like they were building up to that. Like maybe he would have come back at the start of season 3 as a serious contender.

Heh, I'd have MUCH rathered seen them as a couple in season 3, cuz I DID enjoy them at the end of s2. That way, they could've had a nice SL & Chris could've been fleshed out more & he wouldn't have just been a rebound. I still feel LL were meant to be, but I DID see chemistry with LC.

I thought I had read that somewhere, but my memory leaves much to be desired. lol It's a shame SLs have to change because of actor's commitments, but dems da risks.
