Yeah, I was happy to see Chris at Rory's graduation, he should've been there. He's her father after all.

No kidding. The RL part of it is still heartbreaking. I can't believe after 7 years, I began to hate, not only Lorelai (who I *only* enjoyed with Chris after season 3) but Rory too. I just found the whole season dreadful.

Season 7 was a mess on SO many levels!

I finally caved and watched the later seasons of GG you know I always knew the show was going to be Luke/Lorelai endgame but I never thought they'd ever have Lorelai/Christopher get married.

Christopher had his flaws but in the end I found him more mature than Lorelai and Luke he grew up and became a better father.

I could accept L&C not ending up together but why put them together and then hastily break them up I rather they have not gone there to begin with because as you guys mentioned it just makes everyone look bad namely Lorelai here.

Course L&C were doomed when Sherry got pregnant with Gig back in season 2

Yeah I wish they didnt get married like that in s7 it made Lorelai look indecisive and foolish

... and now I'm rewatching and reminded *yet again* that I'm one of the only who could never stand Luke/Lorelai romantically and I LOOOOOOOOOOVE her with Chris.

David/Lauren had the best chemistry. It was just so obvious. Yes, it's probably the main reason why I prefer them. I can admit it. :shrug:

David and Lauren had a really fun and hot chemistry

Rewatching the series made me think Max and Christopher both dodged a bullet here.

And the same with Dean and Tristan with Rory

Both were really self absorbed.

Both Gg girls tend to have some self absorbed tendency I can forgive some of Rory indecisiveness in Rdj because she was a teen but Lorelai not so much

I just love rewatching. I had forgotten that they'd known each other since they were six.

"Should I be mad? Should I send him to a motel? But then he smiles. And it's Christopher. I mean no matter how many years go by...no matter how long I see him for, whenever I do... I mean it's always Christopher."

I just love that.

I also love their humor/banter and how they get each other. That's my type of couples. That type of dynamic, no matter how angsty and complicated - it's just pure love.

Thank you netflix. Loved this show and never liked luke much and really didnt like him and lorelei together.. At the very begininning i saw something but once chris came into the picture, i was really rooting for them. I know how the show ended and it sucked. Im in season 7 and i feel like stopping so i dont have to watch their eventual break up. The actors had great chemistry and their storyline and background story was great, the end of season 2 was hearthbreaking and them getting togethet at season 7 seemed like a sweet reward. Yes i think the show always wanted lorelei with luke but sometimes you can flip the script. I remember in dawsons creek, joey did not end up with dawson, anyways im rambling.. Long story short i loved chris and his chemistry with lorelei and the rest of the gilmores was amazing.

I am a Chris and Lorelai fan when I started watching Gilmore Girls again with my mom this year. My mom started to be a Luke and Lorelai fan. I made my mom to be Chris and Lorelai fan in season 7. So we are both fans of Chris and Lorelai. I am glad we are both fans because they have better chemistry than Luke and Lorelai.

So excited for potential reboot! Hope Christopher and Logan make appearances as those were my favorite pairings for Lorelei and Rory.
