TVGuide - Lorelai and Christopher attend Parents' Weekend at Yale and find Emily and Richard are also there; and Christopher treats Rory's Daily News staff to an expensive lunch where the liquor flows too freely. Meanwhile, a flirtation begins between Luke and April's swimming coach (Mia Cottet), and Luke asks her out on a date.

so, another episode of C/L/R/E/R 'happy' family stuff, fantastic.....

Atleast Luke will hopefully get more than ONE scene and TWO lines in this episode.....

Looks like it. Im excited to see Luke date, not that i want him to find someone else but because he needs to go out and do other stuff. Lorelai has basically moved on and jumped right into the dating scene why cant Luke.

Plus we need more Luke scenes like you said. He's gotten barely no lines and scenes and i miss that.

so, i loved the teaser, uptil i realized that Lorelai wanted to spend the night with Chris and that was why she called Emily *sigh* this is going to be a long night.....

okay, so how boring was this episode?

- Paris: great as usual, loved her kissing Lorelai on the cheek :lol:

- Wet!Half-Naked!Luke, Dady!Luke and Dressed-Up!Luke were great, loved all the scenes with April and Kirk, best scenes of the episode. the date was weird and psycho

- Loved the teaser uptil i realized Lorelai wanted to spend the night with Chris....

- Sookie thing was kinda boring, as was the Yale Parents Weekend, and all the other storylines.

Other Random Thoughts

- Aerie girls need to die

- References to CW shows have got to stop

- we should see more Naked!Luke, Dressed-Up!Luke, and Daddy!Luke

- liked that Rory set C/L up with E/R

- Chris was soooo weird/creepy tonight.

- Three episodes in a row of the C/L show and oviously more to come, great.....

What are we in the Twilight Zone now? What the heck happened to this show???

That was basically a wasted hour of my life minus the 5 mintues of Luke. I want those 55 minutes back!

ME TOO!!!!! I could have used them to study for my AP American History test tomorrow!!! DUmb show screwinng with my mind!! I try to get away from it but sometihing makes me watch it and i cant help it. Though one thing that im not doing this year is downlaoding them episodes to see them again. I see them once and then i never have to see them again and im loving it.

Can i just say I LOVE YOU LUKE DANES!!!

There was way too much C/L tonight. :blank: They hardly even showed Rory!

Overall, the episode was just ok. GG just feels a little weird to me now.

I don't like all the CL stuff and how they make them seem like the perfect family. Lorelai is just off with Chris. Glad they finally mentioned something about Chris not being there for Rory. Speaking of which, Rory didn't seem to be in the ep as much.

Luke in the swimming pool was awesome. The coach however was not. She was way weird and I'm glad that was only a one time date. Glad to see Luke in more than one scene.

Why is Lorelai so mean to Emily and Richard? It seems like overly mean and I don't exactly understand.

Glad we finally got to see Jackson even though that plot was kinda just thrown in there.

The promo did not make me happy.

I know! What did they do? Usually, she has a reason (brekaing up her and Luke ect ect) but now, it's just....

My turn- ME TOO! Physics test tommorrow. Uggg. Such a waste. *goes back to doing homework*

haha same with me, the first half of last season I downloaded the epi and watched it over and over again and now i'm just like thank the Lord it's over because really this show is straight up ridiculous. There's way too much CL it's called Gilmore GIRLS for a reason, and seriously Chris needs to grow up what grown man puts his name tag in the middle of his chest to be like superman?

Luke and April - so sweet and cute. Loved it.

Luke and his date - no thanks. That chick was so not his type and totally weird.

Luke and Kirk - great and how he was talking about himself and his situation with Lorelai but Kirk thought it was about him and Lulu. He so misses his coffee junkie :(

Luke in the pool and out of the pool :thud: what was that ? :thud: What did he say ? :thud:

The rest - :blah: and :yawn: and :sleep: and :sick:

Is it just me or does Lorelai never stop talking anymore? It seems like she goes on and on lately. Seriously.

Chris did seem to try too hard but then again, i can't exactly say anything against him because Luke did the exact same thing with April.

Paris was hilarious... And the Emily and the answering machine thing in the beginning was priceless. :lol:

Luke's date was... psycho.

And Rory was barely in it.

:shrug: Overall though, the show just doesn't seem the same anymore.
