Seeing you all dancing to my songs, playing or singing along, pole dancing (lots of excellent pole dancing?), making edits, someone is using ‘Ordinary Day’ in a film, seeing my record in the charts next to Adele (for about 30 seconds), some of you getting tattoos of specific lyrics, showing up wearing my t-shirts to a convention, or just telling me in person or on social media that a particular song resonated with you… it’s all such a privilege and it all fills me with more pride and joy than I could ever have fathomed.
