Oh, same here. Wasn't expecting that, but then again, I am glad that they got it out of the way so the rest of the series they knew they would not work as a couple no matter what

They have such a great friendship though. In the beginning it is so forced, when they just don't have anyone else, but then it becomes an actual magnificent relationship
