SEASON THREE DISCUSSION

Season 3 finds Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) as she’s finally given up her crush on Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) after hearing him disparage her to his friends last season. Instead, she’s focusing on finding a husband who will respect her independence so she may continue her double life as Lady Whistledown, away from her mother and sisters. Due to her lack of confidence, however, her search doesn’t go so well.
Meanwhile, Colin is back from his summer travels with a new look and major swagger. He is disheartened to learn that Penelope, the one person who always appreciated him as he was, is giving him the cold shoulder. Eager to win back her friendship, Colin helps Penelope boost her confidence so as to attract the perfect husband. But when his lessons start working a little too well, Colin is faced with figuring out what his true feelings for his friend really are.
Complicating matters for Penelope is her rift with Eloise (Claudia Jessie), who has found a new friend in a very unlikely place, while Penelope’s growing presence in the ton makes it all the more difficult to keep her Lady Whistledown alter ego a secret.

I was so hoping the Christmas surprise was going to be a short clip

But I'm satisfied with the new photos and the poster. I don't think we will be seeing any actual footage for a while since the premiere is so many months away.

me too! you're probably right that we'll have to wait a while

I was just going by the s2/QC timeline. For s2 we got the short kathony clip 6 months before the premiere and for QC 8 months before! so that's what gives me hope

That does give a little hope

We probably would've had a short clip by now but I think that SAG strike pushed things back.

Things are back on track now, so it's just a matter of time before we get a clip. Maybe before S3 Netflix will do another TUDUM event and we will get it then. Or maybe a little something for Valentine's Day?

yeah i wonder when the next TUDUM will be, usually they do it on september but bc of the strikes this year they did it on june..

something for valentine's day would be perfect! maybe the teaser trailer? i think Queen Charlotte's teaser trailer came out around valentine's day

usually the teaser trailer comes out a few months before the premiere, and the full trailer a few weeks before (for netflix shows)
