Well, Outlander is from a book and had a board here

It's set in the Scottish Highlands from like the 1600s.

That's true! I was thinking more about shows like Bridgerton or movies like Pride and Prejudice. Outlander has a bit of a fantasy aspect and it's much darker

Outlander has always been on my shows to watch, but never got around to it. I should definitely get to that!

I watched The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society (2018) (added to the OP) this weekend, and I LOVED It so much! Now, I am more proactive about watching historical romance films because of this thread.

I definitely recomend The Hathaways, they're 5 siblings: 4 girls and a guy. All the love stories were great, especially book 4, 3 and 1 imo
