right? same here it was definitely my favorite scene in 4 epis Colin became the real himself and expressed his feelings and then them making out so hot. and last but not least, them finally being relieved and happy that they had each other. it was perfection, topped by his proposal at the end

I loved the scene but I think I would have preferred if he proposed later. After years of friendship, then suddenly falling in love, this proposal seemed a bit rushed to me. But then, there is only 8 episodes.

to be fair, it's what happens in the book as well since he basically defiled Penelope and she's not 'pure' anymore. He basically already made his decision as soon as he declared his feelings, I feel like;

Every second of that carriage scene is SO precious!!!!

His love declaration was so so beautiful and I love that when she says "but we're just friends", his voice breaks a little "But we..." and for a moment he looks like he thinks he got it all wrong, the poor thing And I love that at seeing that she felt confident to say she wanted to be more

Btw, it's understandable now why they said they didn't hear the director's CUT
