I had to look up the lyrics to that song to make sure I posted the Jigga who correctly. Let me tell you that parts of that song are not even in English. Maybe I just don’t get rap music or slang. Can someone give me a lesson? I am so out of the loop and so not hip. __________________

On a sort of side note here is an example using a different song. The Counting Crows have a song called Round Here. It’s a timeless epic classic. Anyway I found out that some Rappers also have a song by the same name. I looked up the lyrics and it was pure gibberish. It made no sense. Why do people have to use bad words to get there point across? Compare the lyrics to see what I mean. No disrespect to any other race or culture or music style. Chris Brown : Round Here Verse 1: Boom Bam I know You wanna give me some Since yah boy blown up Like a bubble gum Best believe I'm known To get gutta with it Ya booty's a bubble I'm a call you My bubblicious Chick from tha gutta I ain't stutta I'm gutta with it So come and get it Like you wanted To get it since Yo, excuse me miss I'm a keep it bouncin' Like six, fo Rollin' through yo hood _____________________________________ Memphis Bleek f/ T.I., Trick Daddy Round Here [Verse 1 - Memphis Bleek] I let you know, how I do it round here And I'm out eight in a morn', dawg glock two around here What chu move around here, and you know I keep my tool around here My n***** act a fool around here, yeah My hood, my set, my strip, my p's, whatever We down, we real, we bang forever Put in game down here, make change down here Cause I serve them fiends, that raw 'caine down here, yeah And I done made my way, round here And them h*** know, I twist them like haze round here Been M.A.D.E. down here, blow hay round here Ask around, them n***** know I lay down here Down here, yeah, and I done aired down there But the streets was bigger, I pump the lead round here Round here... and I'm still in my Nike Air's Yeah, my hat leanin, and I'm livin wit no fears _____________________________________ Round Here Counting Crows Step out the front door like a ghost Into the fog where no one notices The contrast of white on white. And in between the moon and you The angels get a better view Of the crumbling difference between wrong and right. I walk in the air between the rain Through myself and back again Where? I don't know Maria says she's dying Through the door I hear her crying Why? I don't know Round here we always stand up straight Round here something radiates Maria came from Nashville with a suitcase in her hand She said she'd like to meet a boy who looks like Elvis And she walks along the edge of where the ocean meets the land Just like she's walking on a wire in the circus She parks her car outside of my house Takes her clothes off Says she's close to understanding Jesus She knows she's more than just a little misunderstood She has trouble acting normal when she's nervous __________________

JayZ gets on my nerves. I'm not a very big fan of rap music. Most of it these days is crap.

There are certain musicians in every style of music that are go to people when they need someone at an awards show. Jay Z is one of those people. I find that he is like Chris Rock. He can act white and hang with the A list crowd or turn it off and hang with his peeps in the ghetto. I am not a big fan of rap music it’s just not my thing however I do dig stuff like the Beastie Boys. Not only can they rap but they also can even play instruments. Emminem or any other White boy rapper would not be here if it were not for them. Back in the mid 90’s everyone in my town that was into rap music was all about the WU Tang Clan or B.I.G. East Coast/West Coast. __________________

Wu-Tang Clan is my favorite hip-hop group EVER. They started so many things that rappers do even today. I love them to death. Nas and Eminem come second. They're so lyrical and brilliant with their word play. I like rappers that make sense. Not the ones that just throw some words together that rhyme and call it greatness. Lol. It's why I miss the early 90's rap music. I grew up listening to all those guys.
Jay-Z is definitely that rapper that has a diverse demographic. He was on Oprah last month. That tells you all you need to know. __________________

Eminem is my favorite rapper. Very few are actually good anymore. Don't get me started on stupid lyrics. People will pick anything to rap a song about if they think it might make them more money.
