Shiri was the last one to be added to the cast, though. So, maybe we should just be thanking our lucky stars they didn't go for a blond mom instead.

I was never too bothered by the difference in hair color. Who knows, maybe on the show it'll mention Lux dying her hair blonde or something. I've grown to really like the chemistry between Shiri and Brit, that's probably why I never cared that mom and daughter didn't necessarily match.

Yes, me too.
And I like the effect of that difference: they seem nearly the same age and one is blond with blue eyes and the other has dark hair and dark eyes. And with all that, they have chemistry. __________________

It is definitely interesting that they cast the parents so obviously alike, dark brunettes, and the kid so different. Whoever was cast first or last I like all three, so that is not a problem but it is a tiny bit distracting when viewing promos right now, so I hope they deal with it somehow,
I like what I've seen of Cate/Lux in the promos (have not seen the eps yet) Shiri plays exactly how she's supposed to, adult yet completely out of her depth with a kid, but wanting to do the right thing as well. I can't wait to see how it develops. |

Ahh that is such a great pic! Still can't get over the fact that Brit is smaller than Shiri lol. I am so excited for the show to start! These two are going to make a great mother/daughter duo!
