This art is super pretty but also I love the comment too! I really appreciated the depth of the adult characters in LoK.

A lot of times adult characters don't get the props they deserve so this is great

Yeah I like how the writers knew that kids would care about adult characters and wrote them with a lot of depth. Adults don't always have to be bumbling and boring (the way they are in a lot of kids shows)!

Yeah they can be very one note in many cases

Or just all out evil and, while there was some of that in these shows, there was also much more than that

Yeah Su got so much depth too. And their relationship! I loved watching it grow and watching them become better sisters to each other.

Same! They were powerful on their own, but when they stopped fighting one another and fought together? They were a force to be reckoned with

Yes I loved seeing them fight together! That one they had against the red lotus (well it was kind of everyone, but Su and Lin were there and played key parts) was one of my favorites to watch.

I know! It's insane. And the fact that she risked herself to save them and ended up (temporarily) losing her bending. She's such a hero

She was going to protect airbending at all costs. Toph would have been so proud.

She's a very dedicated friend. Selflessness like that is an excellent trait for a chief of police to have.

I hope she told Toph all about it (after their relationship improved a bit)!
