Katara and Zuko started their journey as destined enemies. The fire nation destroyed most of
Katara's tribe and murdered her mother while Zuko was taught from childhood on that
the fire nation was destined to rule the world. After Zuko's banishment it is his one goal
in life to capture the avatar and restore his honour. Only that way he would be able to
return to the fire nation to lift his banishment. Katara, along with her brother Sokka, find
the avatar in an iceberg and set out to help him complete his destiny. Katara and Zuko
are in essence two sides of the same coin. They are both capable of great violence and
struggle with that part of themselves. They're both looking for a place where they can belong.
This is a journey for them to go on together...
