Kya and Bumi probably got away with more though because they didn't have the blessing/burden of being an airbender.

Yeah I was thinking Tenzin would be a bit more straight-laced since he had that burden and it sounds like Aang made him take it pretty seriously. But I bet he still got into his fair share of trouble

We know from that one video we saw that Tenzin had a hard time mastering airbending at first. If I remember correctly? So I'm sure that led to him letting off steam one way or another.
