The Jasmine Dragon | Iroh #2: "While it is always best to believe in oneself, a little help from others can be a blessing."
a place for jasmine tea and wisdom

Leaves from the vine
Falling so slow
Like fragile tiny shells
Drifting in the foam
Little soldier boy
Come marching home
Brave soldier boy
Comes marching home

; words of wisdom

There is nothing to be ashamed of. There's simple honour in poverty.
In the darkest times, hope is something you give yourself
It is usually best to admit mistakes when they occur.

Ooo we're getting the official recipe! Once again, I wish I liked tea

Also whoever wrote that did a very good job! It sounds exactly like something Iroh would say.

Right? I keep telling myself to get into tea

It's really cute

A lot of my friends are very into tea but I've never been able to really get into it.

Maybe one day it'll change for us

Always the flirt

Maybe one day

Yeah he was there  Unfortunately he had to do that to get money at the moment though. I felt really bad when he and Zuko had to basically live on the streets.

pink velvet 11-23-2021 06:38 AM

He did what he had to do to survive  It's a humbling moment given where they came from.

gold-steps 11-23-2021 08:08 PM

Yeah I think that was the moment when things really started to shift for Zuko and he started to think a bit differently. Iroh seemed to take it a bit better (or at least had a better attitude) but it's very different for him too.

pink velvet 11-24-2021 06:09 AM

Iroh definitely seemed more open and accepting of the change  I think being deeply involved in the war, and what happened with his son, humbled him and made this transition easier for him

gold-steps 11-24-2021 09:21 PM

Yeah that's true. Iroh had been through a lot of change already. I think it's definitely easier to deal with when you're older (probably because you've already been through some stuff at that point)

With age comes wisdom

Oooo those animations look great! I love how they did the lightning redirection. And of course the tea
