I do see it a tiny bit since they can both be really intense. But I definitely don't see Korra tricking people into giving up their land. So yeah not the best comparison on Bolin's part!

I guess he is just seeing them as being strong, tough and helping people. They can both be rather fierce as well and impatient when things don't go their way. That being said, Korra is not trying to be a dictator

Yeah they do have their similarities personality wise! But they definitely have different goals!

Though Bolin thinks very highly of Korra, so we know that's a big compliment to Kuvira.

It is a big compliment! He clearly thinks highly of Kuvira even if he didn't love her surprising all the world leaders like that.

Yeah I think that kind of planted a seed of doubt for him. But not enough to get him to completely get him to change his mind.
