Scary but great feels like a good tagline for her

I learned for the first time the other day that originally Azula was meant to have an arranged marriage in season 3. I can't imagine that at all

Wait really? I've never heard that....but yeah it's so hard to imagine.

I guess it was pretty common in royal families but its super hard to imagine her married.

Edit: I'm watching and they're talking about Azula's VA and ugh she's so awesome! She does such a good job making Azula sound scary and intimidating without it being too much.

Agreed! Total props to her voice actor

I liked that she wasn’t over the top and shouting her evilness all the time. She had a chilling calm that was just spot on

Yes! I know she's done a lot of other voices too which is really cool. She did a great job of making Azula sound scary. Chilling calm is way scarier than yelling at least for me

I feel like I listen less to what is being said when there is screaming involved. But when it’s that calm and chilling voice I hear every word

That's a great video! It does a great job of showing how much her relationship with her mom (or lack thereof) affected her. Also really cool that it gets into the graphic novels.

I always think of her relationship to Ozai more and how that shaped her

A lot of times I overlook how much her mom influenced her. In fact she was influenced by her just as much as she was her father.

Me too! I've also seen a lot of Azula defense type posts on tumblr and it's really changed my perspective on her.
