ATLA: Book One | Water #1: A hundred years passed and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar, an airbender named Aang.
Where the whole wonderful journey began! Book One is a legend :thud: Thanks for starting
This one is just perfection, and why I love watching reactions because people go into it really not knowing what to expect and by the time they're halfway through the season, they haven't realized they've completely fallen in love; :thud:
YESSS! That moment when you realize that it’s not just an ordinary show :thud:
And everything changes. :thud: And then the excitement whenever the words "Part 1" would show up and you'd know you're in for a ride.
SUCH a ride :thud: Honestly whenever those opening credits appear it's just magic
It always throws me off that the opening sequence for the pilot is slightly different. And I know it is and still when I see it, I'm not used to it.
Oh that's right! They made that switch up afterward to the intro we know and love.
Yeah, and it's so jarring. :lmao: "Ah, you're actually going to explain, ok. ok."
I guess the first episode required a bit more foundation laying
I'm rewatching this season again because why not  |
Always a good choice tbh . :in_love: So much backstory in this book
So magical to see where it all begins
I agree! I rewatched when it first came to Netflix and it was great to watch from the start again!
I did that as well! :D And now I’m doing it again  Amazing how it never gets old.
Can we open an official rewatch thread to motivate me? :rotfl:
