Oooo it's interesting that he didn't become a master until he was older and that he got into fights with his airbending when he was younger. That's interesting to know in the context of his parenting. Him wanting for Jinora to wait before getting her tattoos makes a lot more sense, and him emphasizing how airbending is for self-defense in training.

It goes to show how truly remarkable Aang was as an airbender, but also how much insane pressure Tenzin had on him. His parenting style definitely came from what he learned through his own experience

Yeah I think that was definitely kind of him reacting to all of the pressure he was under. I think that definitely can contribute to kids acting out.
