Also I love that she was all for Zuko being Aang's firebending teacher She didn't have the history that everyone else had with him so it was easier for her to look to the future instead of the past.

Yeah I think it makes a lot of sense for her to be the one first suggesting they accept him. She wasn't around when he was really chasing them. And she kind of has a complicated family too so I think she understands him there a bit too.

That’s true. Her relationship with her parents is strained to say the least. I’ll always be bummed those two didn’t get to spend more time together. I think they would have been fun to watch.

I will forever be sad that she was the only done that didn't get a Zuko field trip. I wonder what they would do together.

I feel like it would have been so funny And I’d love to see Toph show off the way of bending that she INVENTED to him.

Oh I would love to see his reaction to metalbending for the first time! He'd be like And I think she'd love getting to show it off to someone new.
