so I watched it last night, just as i thought it provided some background story about how they make witchers and the sacking of Kaer Morhen. it was fun to see a young Vesemir. the animation is well done. i wouldn't say it was a must-watch but it's enjoyable. it welcomes us back to the witcher world with new season coming soon.

Vesemir has some playful and caricature scenes, great in anime. this will be a huge contrast with the older Vesemir we'll see in the new season of the Witcher
Only watch the video below after watching Nightmare of the Wolf. It explains the ending and the connection with season 2 of the Witcher

i wouldn't say it was wow. i'm not sure if anime is the best way to present the witcher world. it was cool to see a young Vesemir. overall it was enjoyable.
it provides backstory on how witchers are being made and Kaer Morhen. we'll see Geralt and Ciri head to Kaer Morhen in season 2 of the Witcher. this anime movie will help people understand what have happened there. i also see it as an introduction for Vesemir. We'll see an older version of him in season 2. __________________
