I would say Pikachu is one of my favorites

yeah I haven’t had a cake with characters on it since I was 7 but definitely the years I was in elementary school in general holds a special place in my heart

my birthday is at the end of next month and hoping to have some good memories of that day

just wish I wasn’t getting older

I am wondering, why are there hundreds of Pokémon instead 100 or less than 200? Apparently there was a time where less than 200 Pokémon existed. I found a list with 905 of them on it today. That seems a bit much.

Well, it was originally just the first 150 with that mysterious 151 but that can only take you so far, the games kept selling and as the series grew popular they needed the perfect excuse to keep selling new games and animating more seasons of the anime for decades to come so continuously expanding the list was their answer....................
That must be why over the span of 25+ years you have gotten 8-10 generations with 1000 instead of just the og gen with 150, the sad part of it all is that the design of the pokes from gen 4 and onwards look more like toys than animals which you can easily tell all of it was made driven by Nintendo's GREED along with their affiliated companies, not with the interests & enjoyment of the FANS in mind.

I will always be a fan of just the originals the most and then like up to the mid-late 2000s

don’t know most of the newer ones

I do still have some drawings from the early-mid 2000s in my sketch book I made of Pokémon characters from weekend art classes

Damn, I didn't know there were 900 now! Then again, it's been on since the 90's and it's still on so of course they had to keep making Pokemon. It used to be so simple with the original series having under 200 of them. I remember when Johto first came on I was excited to see new Pokemon. I obviously don't keep up with it anymore, but the few Pokemon I've seen do look more toyish than like animals. They basically look like balloon animals now from what I've seen lol.

Ha, I just remembered the theme was "Gotta catch them all," There's no way in hell anyone is catching them all now lol.

Right! To capture all 1000 would be next to impossible, if you want to remember the theme and opening i posted it on #146 a lil while back.
