OK. Good. I'm not familiar with most of them as I don't tend to watch ''Pokémon'', but Charmander is 1 of if not my fave. Psyduck also is 1 that I recall & am like.

I remember Misty's Psyduck on the show had many funny moments. I hated how she treated him sometimes, but they also had a hilarious dynamic lol. The show was so good back then.

Hi Butterfly! Back then it sure was, have i ever expressed to you how much i dislike when chars in beloved series don't age with us (the viewers)? Maybe if they did, i could have at least been swayed enough to remain updated; Do you remember Ash was 10 when the journey started? Well, i was younger than him and now i'm 32, heheha, kids now say he is 12 but that is their go to excuse when trying to justify it, there's just no way many of us OG's will remain interested after you clearly only cater to the new blood and towards the people that helped you get there in the 1st place and it doesn't help at all that the art style and animation has decreased exponentially, after 2 decades+ their pedestal might crumble soon and we won't even feel sad. If i were to have my own kids in the near future, i definitely will not recommend them to watch any season past Johto.

I kind of forgot Ash was 10 when the series started, but he's still a kid 25 years later. That's what irks me about cartoons, everyone stays the same age forever. It's worse with The Simpsons, I think I was four when that show started and Maggie is still a damn baby. This is why shows shouldn't be on 20 or 30 freaking years later, it's psychotic IMO. I can't even imagine still watching a show I LIKE that long, that's just too much. It gets stale and I can't imagine what else they could possibly do 20+ years later. I agree that if people watch Pokemon, they should just watch the golden years of Indigo until the end of Johto when Brock and Misty leave. That was the end of the best era, and I'm still disappointed nothing happened with Ash/Misty when they set it up. Back then I expected some payoff, what a waste SMH.

Right, barely any payoffs, if you are a scriptwriter why would it take you over 2 decades before making Ash actually compete & win the Poke League? Only pleasing the new gen kids hurt the show in the long run, how many of your nephews, nieces, younger cousins or ANY other unknown kids you might hear on the street are actually discussing the show? Haven't heard a kid talk about the series since Pokemon Go, i'm talking about 5 years ago............................

Yeah, the only time I've been hearing about Pokemon was when they kept talking about Pokemon Go (Game sounds overrated as hell and almost got people killed) and that Arecus game I guess. So yeah, I hear about the games more than the Anime nowadays.

this is from my own personal experience

I worked at a summer camp almost 6 years ago and the younger kids were really into Pokémon because that’s right when the Go craze started

but they were trading the cards

this is how I managed to swipe a Vulpix one from one of them because I never really collected the cards growing up

and staff put on the anime show for them to watch on Netflix

Never played pokemon go, but I collected the cards when they came out in 1999. I have a few of the old decks including some shiny cards. Like Gyarados and a Charizard 1st generation, though not one of those super rare ones without the shadow that were accidentally released.

I liked Eevee too but fire is my fav element so i always evolved them into Flareons, Lucario has the benefit of a very cool design, yeah!
