the music is amazing indeed. i rewatched the HD version of it in recent years at a movie festival and it's still really good.
The stand alone complex anime series also pretty good. There's a new anime Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 on Netflix right now. I haven't watched it yet. Someone on the comics board said it was good. __________________

I have "Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence" & the "Ghost in the Shell" Special Edition DVD on hold at a library, so next week I'll likely be able check them out. It's been a while since I've watched any Ghost in the Shell film or show.

i'm 2 episodes in. all the characters are there. it's not bad so far. i just prefer the original anime better. she also looks more badass in the anime.
