Wow, this was better than what I expected. Granted, my only expectations come from promos and contrived storylines (because I knew DV was gonna be a mess). So, I’m…pleasantly surprised. Yes, I’ll go with that.

Jenny’s at the Empire. In Serena’s favorite shirt. NJ played Wii tennis and Natie slept on the couch. Umm… The couch is a CN thing! WHERE IS MY CN COUCHING THING?!?! *cough*

Text from S saying she’s back. Jenny tries to get him to not see her. He doesn’t listen.

Cut to Lily and Serena HAPPY in a cab. Wow. They’re cute and pretty and laughing. They’ve got such a bipolar relationship.

B says Dorota is 8 months pregnant! Awww! I love B/Dor. Dorota will work until she goes into labor. I hope Blair’s with her when this happens. ♥

There’s lots of tension between Rufus and William.

Two things. A) So, William is the daddy. Will we ever figure out about Keith from 2x24? Because I’m like so curious on how it all works out. B) So, W/R know each other. L/A know each other. So, WTF. How exactly did the foursome know each other? Especially when Lily went away after giving birth and then college? And married William? How do the boys know each other? This is gonna annoy the eff out of me. Too many questions, not enough answers. Am I watching Lost?

Chuck arrives home with two whores. Jenny is still there. C/J scenes creep the **** out of me. Like, seriously, it bothers me. And he’s SUCH A SLEEZE and she doesn’t bat an eyelash. Which is another reason I have no sympathy for her. Pilot? Please, that was dropped after the Masquerade. Brought back in 2x21 for the apology and Jenny at least looked uncomfortable there. But S3? This is just ridicules.

So, Chuck says he probably won’t remember the convo in the morning. I would like to forget, too. He’s mumbling. I’ll blame the drinking. (Ed does get really soft-spoken at times.)

He wants his bestie back and the best way is with S out of the picture. He encourages doubts.

Me? Not a fan since Chuck’s like #1NS fangirl. I’ll blame the alcohol some more.

For the debate team. So, Eric’s going to Harvard like his daddy? *sighs* (I heard Eric in the promo! So here we go!)

AND VANESSA IS ALIVE! Thank god. Way too long without seeing her. And OMG, I didn’t hate it as much as I thought I should? *scratches head* Something like that…. At least it wasn’t Vanessa’s fault.

Anyway, I mean, I read the eppie description so I knew Dan go rejected () but still. Them together like that..reading… Made me too giddy. *shrugs* Oh wells.

So, there was only one spot for NYU transfer. Eck. Vanessa confesses it was her. But she didn’t know they’d only have one. She thought they’d be together. If she knew, she wouldn’t have applied!

Dan’s all calm and cute and I’m freaking out because hello, that is BAD SIGN.

There’s lots of LR. Basically, this scene involves Lily saying if she said it out loud, it would be “real.” And when Blair wills herself not to be pregnant..MAGIC! It’s true. *blinks*

Dorota said she sent the invites! And I’m practically yelling at the tv..CHUCK! It only took a minute for B to realize (which is still a minute too long, granted).

B talks to one of the cater-waiters and he says sure he’d date her. She’s hot. Hell yes, she is. And the outfit at the end of the ep? Maybe Blair should be in Brooklyn more often? Anyone have a cap? Or icon?

But, before B makes the realization, there’s more awesome B/Dor goodies. (But, like, Dorota can stay and not be killed/move to France, okay? Because Eric and Dorota are the only people who keep me sane. Can you imagine me without either of them?) So, Blair seriously has the BEST one-liners. (Eric does too whenever he’s around..he obviously learned from his sister Blair <3)

So, Blair doesn’t want any of Dorota’s stories/lectures that end in “…and then I came to America.” LMAO

(Dorota referenced first husband again…from webisodes…can we mention countess, too? Because seriously, only the Waldorf’s would have European royalty as their maid. <3)

S/J. Jenny sticks the shirt out. S grabs it. THERE IS AN “ARCHIBALD” LABEL! ANNE “SEWS” IT ON HIS CLOTHES. ALL OF THEM. She buys and has it delivered to the Empire. ROTFLMAO! (Wait, can Anne not die/go to France, too? I MISS HER! Does she have a permanent residence at Howie’s jail cell or something?)

I’m like confused on this convo…Vanessa’s story was influenced by Dan’s New Yorker piece? What does that mean? What is Dan smoking?

S/W. Reminisce about 1998/98. He was in the Congo and the family was dealing with Lily and Klause/Klaus/Clause/Claus something or another. They mention that ALL THE TIME, and I still don’t know who she married and when any of this **** went down! (because wasn’t Lily with one of them while S was in boarding school? 1x01 deleted SE scene)

Anyway, so William wants to take S to Serendipity’s. She loves those banana splits. Yeah. When she was FOUR. Awkward…. And she comments on him being gone for the last 14 years. Therefore, we can correctly conclude he was gone before N-JBC formed a year later? (Assuming the BN have been dating since kindergarten is more than just an expression and really does mean the four of them met in kindergarten…)

The scene ends with him saying he didn’t just leave. DUN DUN DUN.

DV! OMG, they’re at a coffee shop. Actually, that doesn’t bother me. It’s their place. Although I am waiting for the day that Vanessa does start serving coffee again. Despite them joking about it not happening earlier in the season.

So, they talk about “original” piece needs to be submitted. Well, duh! As she was reading/thinking about his New Yorker story (the best present he ever received..because he is a dork like that *giggles*), inspiration hit and she wrote her first original play! OH SNAP! She wrote original. OH NOES! She based it on Dan/DV. Can I write, V? I need some more DV fanfics please.

She gives it to him to read and leaves because she can’t watch him read it. (Unlike me, who must reread over my mother when she reads my fics because it helps me edit.) They’re gonna skip party and have pizza! (Until Blair shows up and party begins!)

So, back to S/W. He went to Tibet..took a job. He was going to commute. But… I need to rewatch to full get it..but Lily something…couldn’t do? What? I didn’t get it.

BLAIR!!!! BD! She spills it out. I’m trying to figure out what’s the kicker. Because I loved it now. Loved it 2x08. Hell, 1x04, too. And I think it DOES go all the way back to the fashion shoot. He went to her and spilled his issue with Allison and therefore giving B the courage to go to Eleanor and somehow, Dan now much deal with CB. Now, this is awesome and all, but goddammit, WHERE IS MY CD SCENE?!?!?!

Dan says he has more important things to do than help Blair. Okay, a) you fail at life, you can’t convince Willa anything. She obviously has it in for Vanessa and b) Hello. Nothing is more important than Blair Waldorf. Shut up, Humphrey and just do as Blair says.

He gives in because he needs to talk to Willa anyway (see a)

And Blair says something about Vanessa loaning her some clothes. Can I pretend this really happened? And maybe B can do it again? And maybe BV can go shopping and watch movies (because, hello! No one likes movies more than these two). *sighs*

B/D/V walk in. I had a moment of panic. I was thinking Dan would cancel on Vanessa and go to the party with Blair and talk to Willa alone. Thank GOD Vanessa was there. And she went to follow her and watch her and maybe they can talk about film and writing the best scrip possible and Blair can be in it playing an Audrey-like character and Vanessa will film and PLEASE?!?!?!?!?!

Another three come in. There’s a LOT of sleaze there. My stomach hurts. Make it stop.

BLAIR MENTIONS AARON ROSE! She does remember she has a non-existent stepbrother. I WANT A BLAIR/AARON SCENE, DAMMIT! (Book OTP!)

Dan tells Willa he made a mistake and Jenny passes after Willa tries to kiss.

WHY MUST THESE CRAZIES TRY TO KISS DAN AND NATE?!?!?! THEY ONLY HAVE EYES FOR THEIR BESTIES! (And I mean Serena…mostly..Chuck at times too, for Nate..but I must always mention my love for CN… *cough*)

D/J scene. OMG, they are SIBLINGS! I FORGOT! There’s a REAL scene! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?!

And then I prompted ignored them because I can and Dan pissed himself when he saw Willa/Vanessa talking.

Rufus wants a second opinion. Why not the subway station?

Will says he’ll stick around no matter. But S wants daddy to play doctor and Lily wants it too. (Pun intended)

NS are on the phone and Jenny comes over talking, Serena hears and huffs and phone over. *head bang*

CHUCK WATCHES BLAIR! <3 DO YOU SEE THIS LOOK? Icons/caps/anything? Someone? NOW?

He tells NJ to leave. He’s clearly not done with Blair for the night.

Blair and her Columbia guy are talking and he keeps trying to kiss her and she keeps pulling away until he finally asks if she wants to make the guy jealous because EVERYONE can feel CB’s pull.

DV are having it out. She asked if he had a problem. But why didn’t she tell him first. She explained. No, she justified. (It was supposed to be happy surprise, though!) She asks if he wants her to withdraw. I think she really would have. DV ♥

S/W “I still don’t know what I want from you.”

He mentions that he’s kept an eye on her. They reference the polo match from the Vanderbilt polo party.

(Oh man, next time Grandfather is around, I want his HONEST opinion on NS. I was disappointed in 2x19 where he made no comment about Vanessa. At least Serena’s got a big past and the Trip ordeal. So I’d LOVE to hear that.)

CB. She says she didn’t kiss him. Wow. She’s growing up! The best way to get over Chuck is not by hooking up and forgetting their past. It’s moving on. They did love each other. (Still completely do.) But the next time she kisses someone, it’s going to be for her, not because of them.



Back at the Empire, Nate’s on his way to drunkenville. Jenny said (quoting Nate’s words before some eps back) that he deserves someone who would treat him right. And Jenny would NEVER treat Nate the way that Serena does.

Yeah.

We know that. She’d never love him. Know him as well. Let herself be who she is with him. At the end of the day, spill it all and cry in his arms.

We know that, sweetheart. You’d NEVER be in Serena’s league.

And that’s your mistake.

Seriously, SVU may be one of my favorite shows, but Jenny has NEVER been a victim. She can play the victim card, but this bitch definitely is nothing remotely close to a victim.

Serena came to apologize and mentions the wedding and leaving a message. Huh? What? What message? Nate got no message. YOU KNOW WHY?!?!

Jenny pulls a JENNY 1x16 on a van der Woodsen. AGAIN.

They’re like making these B/J parallels in some instances, but god, Jenny can never be in the same league as the Queen.

Blair wants to go feed the duckies tomorrow. OMG, I want Blair with the baby feeding duckies. SO BADLY!

(Seriously, this is one of Blair’s hottest looks. )

Serena got the OKAY from Lily and then NS talk. She is sorry for taking Nate for granted. (Good.) And then she cries and tells Nate and they talk and talk and the scene is over, but you know she cried into his shirt and then he let her have it because she totally needs a new favorite shirt.

I DIED. OMG. DID YOU SEE IT! VICTROLA DRESS. FLASHBACKS. Doesn’t matter that it’s not new, but VICTROLA!

I liked this episode. I didn't like how bratish B was at first though I don't think she was portrayed out of character that she gave full swing to her inclination but again *small voice* Leighton's delievery seemed so over the top.. *small voice*

I liked how B’s true feelings veiled in public. I think when she told C "goodbye" she was crushed and sank beneath the weight of her words, but she didn't show it. I believe one's own pain not weighs so heavy as the pain one feels with someone or for someone, her strength was directed outward which tempted and lured her to erase and destroy her past and yet behind closed door when came to her past, she was vulnerable and “weak”, which was beautiful. I am glad she didn’t want to repaint her past because it hurt so much, but I feel the more she was aware of herself the more it pushed her away from C.

I missed C's pov, even if I like C's realization when B was talking and C's line to N about being a crappy friend.
I liked B's growth and her facing her past/feelings.

Everything else was boring.

Instead of having Chuck scheming with Jenny, which I found completely pointless, they should have shown more of his POV. The writers are doing a great job at showing Blair's emotions, her maturing and strenght, which is awesome to watch, but I wish they would do the same with Chuck, I hope next epi. deals with him.

The epi. overall pretty blah for me, too much Rufus and Serena drama for my taste.

I was sad and a bit mad CB broke up three episodes in row but beneath all of that there was the most surprising thing, RELIEF.
Watching B, CHUCK THIS, CHUCK THAT, for two seasons was tiresome.
