SAVAGE: [Chuck getting shot] is significant enough that it creates some space for them to, if not exactly rekindle their romance right away, at least find a humanity in each other. She doesn’t forgive him immediately. But it’s a significant enough event to recalculate things.

So the Jenny thing is not irreparable?
SAVAGE: It’s Chuck and Blair. It’s always going to be a wild ride. And that’s the thing. I believe personally that their love for each other is really strong. They are going to encounter incredible obstacles over the course of their time together and the question is whether or not they’re strong enough to make it through.

Can Blair forgive Chuck after this misstep?
J.S.: First, there's the question of what happened to Chuck at the end of this episode.
S.S.: Let's see if Chuck can recover from his bullet wound first.
J.S.: Blair can forgive Chuck in her heart—if he's no longer with us.

According to Josh, Don't forget, you recently promised us that Chuck and Blair are always at the forefront of your storytelling.
J.S.: That's not a lie.
S.S.: That's totally true.
And how will Blair find that character this season?
JS: Oh Blair. I get so much enjoyment from Blair Waldorf. You know, her being at NYU was like throwing a fish far, far out of water and I think [now that she's at Columbia] you’ll see Blair with her power back, with her swagger back, you know, back in her game, but still troubled by thoughts of Mr. Bass. The Chuck-Blair relationship, whether they’re together or not — which I’m certainly not going to reveal either way — will always be a huge drive to the show emotionally.

According to Stephanie, Will Blair make good on her promise to destroy Little J if she comes back to the city?
J.S.: Blair doesn't make promises [she can't keep].
S.S.: We will do whatever will create maximum drama.

Gossip Girl - July 5th - More Set Photos | Spoiler TV

- The first two episodes are set in Paris. People in New York were shooting episode 3 while they shot in Paris. The Paris episodes echo through the entire season.
- Josh did reveal during the panel that by the end of G.G.'s Paris run, Chair will come face-to-face (another tease we see in the promo) but it will lead to "explosive consequences" for the rest of the season. Bahhh! Why must you keep doing this us?!
- One Blair/Chuck scene on the street (like a holy sh-t, that's Chuck, what is he doing here? type deal)... and one, all dressed up and meeting face-to-face.
- Josh says we are going to reconnect with Chuck post shooting and where Blair's head is at with regards to Chuck... Chuck and Blair's meeting in Paris will set off explosive events for the rest of the season.
- We get a first look at the season premiere. "Paris is burning, and Serena and Blair lit the match," Blair says.

Frederick: Gossip Girl. Give it up! Is there any hope for Chuck and Blair? I'm getting really depressed with what I've seen for the new season.
I know you Chair fans have been in a funk since May, when Chuck the B******* did you know what with you know who (for shame!), but I finally have a ray of hope to offer...I can tell you exclusively that Chuck and Blair will have, um, relations, of the bom-chicka-bow-wow kind during the upcoming season. At least, that's what my sources are saying. Whether they will actually get back together, well…that I cannot say, sorry. But still, that's a pretty major reason to keep tuning in, right?
