Watching Leatherheads, I really like GC in the light, fun stuff. he's really good at it.

I have come to the conclusion though that I can't be objective about who he has Chem with because no one can measure up to GC/JM for me , ever :-(

I always liked Renee. Anyone see pics of her recently? Her face looks very different. Botox?

Also, anyone have a link to the first scene where Doug asks Carol for a drawer? The link here no longer works.

Doug and Carol were pretty good at the end of season 4. They treated a drug addict baby and got some problems because of that, but everything went out fine!

The overall story of Leatherheads was decent and the movie itself was a definite homage to that sort of 30's/40's time period.

I still think that Renée Zellweger's best independent film to date is Empire Records. There's something about her performance and the movie in general that just makes me adore it. I can't explain it.

I thought Leatherheads was more tongue-in-cheek comedy than anything. I don't think it's a bad film, per se, but definitely not my favorite GC film overall.

I also agree that it's almost pointless to debate who GC has the most chemistry with. Much like marybl (and I'm sure most, if not every other post in here), no actress can measure up to the chemistry that George & Julianna have.

That sort of chemistry can't be duplicated. They've known each other for fifteen years now, worked closely together day in and day out for five years, and have remained close (at least from what interviews and news segments allow us together) over the course of it all. That sort of friendship and that chemistry is something that's hard to replicate, if not impossible.

Not to say these actresses that George has starred opposite aren't nice, generous people. But he's known and has worked (on and off) with Julianna for almost two decades now. There's just something to be said for that sort of friendship/chemistry.

I did see an interview not long ago w/ Renee Z, she said she is so close to GC and depends on him more than he knows. But You just can't duplicate what JM/GC had ever :-(

I am watching My Cousin Vinny now, LOVE this movie, I loved Marisa Tomei in this but I can Soooo See JM in that role too :-))

Very happy to see the new thread open!!! You guys are so amazing.

I start to review old seasons when the show ended last week.
Now I am watching season 3 which is most fans like most, and I see the kiss in the 3x22 earlier today. Suddenly one thought comes into my mind.

Carol said because this is only the third date so Toby definitely doesn't come inside. But I remember when Carol, Doug, Carter, etc. went to Cardiology to get crash-carts back, she told Lydia that Doug was so charming that their first date was on the kitchen floor right after doorbell ringing.

It seems Carol's rule or principle was broken when she met Doug.

i saw today on ER the wedding epi!!!!!!!!!!!!! Carol looked amazing in the white wedding dress and the red lipstic GOD she is soooo beautiful!! i loved when Carol told Doug "i just want to be happy" and he repled her "you will......" the whole episode was just the best of season 1
