Hee, Abby. She's so cute. The looks she gave Frank, bwahaha. That was great.
I love TPTB, they can't go one season finale without some cute little Carby scene. Wee. Okay, Carter .. anvils .. lame. Just no. Linda was frickin' amazing in this episode, especially when she gave Alex that little speech. She was just awesome. I really liked Pratt in this episode. But I think it might be just because Mehki is really cute. Teehee. AND WOW, DID THE ENDING EVER SHOCK ME! THEY'RE ALL HAVING FUN IN A CAR TOGETHER, OF COURSE SOMETHING HORRIBLE'S GOING TO HAPPEN! |

My favorite scene of the whole episode was when Abby read her board letter out in the rain. Carter's whole "I never had a doubt in my mind..". just melted my little broken carby heart. Random rain shower? Just like how it was raining in at the end oflast year's finale.. Oooh the rain. Sam, jeez. Poor Luka. But, I have to give props to Alex for calling Luka at work.. "My mom's going crazy.." Haha, I hope she comes back. Neela, not quite sure what she's doing.. I guess she wants to go back to County? Her whole smoking on the side of the road scene really amused me though. And, oh the beginning scene really grossed me out. I did not need to see that womans leg dangeling off the side of the car. All in all, a decent finale.. Not wonderful, but it had its moments. __________________

I LOVED Sam's speech/reaming to Alex. Linda rocks so much. Steve really gives me the heeby-jeebies. Blargh. He looks like a sex offender. I guess technically he is, but dude. Effing SKEEVY.
Loved the Abbyness, of course. Loved the teeny bit of Carby. The ending BLEW. Did anyone really care if Chen or Pratt got shot/died in brutal car accident? I sure as hell didn't. |

Kay this eppie had me upset by the end of the episode.
ARGH! A lot was just anvils for pleasure in my opinion. Although some of the interaction on the show was nice. * Neela, well, what can I say? I really haven't cared for this character since the beginning. I think she was too much like Carter as a med student, except the female version. They gave her so much air time that I just grew to not care. I mean, there are so many more interesting characters that they've had forever that they haven't bothered to give that much air time too. But I did feel for her at the end when the prof reminded her that she wouldn't be licensed without an internship. I was totally wondering what she was going to do... but knowing tptb somehow County will magically find a place for her... * Sam/Alex and her major freak out. Well let me just say that was kind of unexpected. It was too weird. I was like, what the heck is she babbling about? Maybe that's because I haven't paid any attention to most of her background since she hooked up with Luka. And I never really cared for Alex. Found him a little bit too bratty. Anyway, somehow he made me care for him in this episode. I felt for him when his dad showed up and he was wanting to spend more time with him and then Sam gets all freaked out. He doesn't want to leave. * Luka wasn't in this episode much. Much to my chagrine. And what he did have was a pining look at Sam and then the interaction at the end when Sam takes off. I liked his doctor stuff, but there wasn't much of that, except medical jargon. I miss my Luka. * Carter I have to admit was just kind of ... there. He floated through the episode. Which I think worked well, since he just lost his son and stuff. I think that was a good idea. Don't know why they had him always there when Abby is freakin' out or just brooding and stuff. He was good in the episode. It was nice that he didn't overwhelm the whole show. * Kerry stuff kind of tugged at the heart, but I just felt like it was more of an attempt to pull heartstrings and stuff. The preachy stuff about how people can't label what parenthood is and stuff was kind of like * Jing Mei!...whoohoo! She had some semblance of a storyline! AND THEY HAD TO GO AND DO THAT? I hate the tptb for doing that to me. I finally get something interesting for her and then they have her in a car with Pratt...who of course had to be a loser and spaz on the driving... Who didn't get a bad feeling at the end of the episode as the former patient guy fingered the roadragelunatic? Argh! I really wanted Carter to talk to Chen too...just a little touch on the friendship again...please? * Pratt, though he didn't completely irritate the heck out of me tonight, still grated on my nerves. With the whole driving fast and stuff. I mean, if he had gotten in an accident because of that, I would of had a #1 reason why to not like the guy. But tptb didn't give me that. :d'oh: Anyway, a gun on that lunatic guy? Can we be just a little more original guys? Overall I don't know if this SF made me wanting to come back next season. Especially after hearing about casting next year and stuff...most ppl want to watch next season because of casting next year, but again, I think the execs are overcrowding the whole show and don't have writers who know how to write for such ensemble casts. But that is OT. This episode had me turning back to the channel to see more. But I don't know if it was the greatest SF ever...or even one of the top 10. __________________

Um, if I'm ever in need of a good pick-me-up I'm going to watch that Pratt/Chen/maniac driver scene again and just laugh and laugh and laugh. Is this a medical drama or The Fast & The Furious 3? Honestly, guys. Crack kills.
Linda was so damn good. Heart her, HEART. __________________

The episode was basically a big fat MEH for me.
Good stuff: - not too much Carter (I conveniently left the room while he was heroically saving the little boy's life. One of the better decisions in my life.) - Sunglasses!Neela and FagInHand!Neela - Abby passing her boards. And also those very cute expressions she had with the JaundicedOldMan when his student miraculously showed up. - LC's acting and also that of her little boy. Is it wrong if I harbor a secret desire for those two to run far far away from County and have their own spinoff? Bad stuff was basically everything else. __________________

Hee. Linda rocks.
A Jinter scene blown. A Jing-Mei story blown. An an outrageous cliffhanger. Certain characters being overly emotional without realizing it. Seemed like a typical ER episode to me. *yawn* Is it fall yet? __________________

The episode was good but it didn't really feel like a season finale. If anything it felt like just...a regular episode and next week the ending was supposed to be on. But, whatever.
Sam's speech to Alex? Loved it. Alex bugged me, and he's usually the one that I like... :/ Um... Luka. In scrubs. Need I say more? I love Abby, I'm so happy for her. All the progress she has made since the beginning of the season is just...wow. ::Glows with pride!:: There was more but I don't remember... __________________

Was I the only one bored through almost the whole episode? What saved it was Abby passing her boards, Sam's speech to Alex and Luka helping the woman, that's all.
Also, the cliffhanger was pretty lame. ::waits for the shouting:: It's nanda, by the way. |

This episode was not the best or the worst season finale. I was bored during some parts. I loved other parts. The mos boring parts were the Neela storyline. I also was not interested in Chen's storyline.
I am so glasd that Abby passed her boards. I loved the carby interaction in this episode. The Peaches and Herb reference was good. Peaches and Herb was a duo from the Seventies who best hit was "Reunited". I loved how Abby was able to comfort Carter early in the episode. I was glad that Carter was there when Abby found out about passing her boards. I think we got a few samll smiles from Carter. It was great to see Abby so happy, yet she was aware of Carter's plight. I hope we see them interact more next season. I've missed their interaction. |

Not a very exciting cliffhanger. Pratt is so dumb. That was so stupid to play a game like that on the road. If only one of them comes back I hope it's only Chen.
I liked Abby's reaction to passing the boards and when she told the math teacher patient she would be back the next day as Dr. Lockhart. I hope Neela comes back next season, and Sam too. That car accident in the beginning was scary. And the driver who caused it was such an ass. He deserves life in prison. He nearly killed two people and he has no remorse. I missed Susan. Is she going to give birth next season? I hope we get to see it and they don't skip over it. Watching her got through labor and delivery with Chuck by her side is going to be funny and sweet. That's pretty much it. Everything else was pretty much boring. I am not even excited about next season b/c the cliffhanger was ehhhh. It felt like any other episode in the season. |
