For the show I now think it is more like when they started then how long they been there. That they switch the color up. Everyone who started the same year as Maddie will have maroon shirt. And then now they are back in the year that everyone who starts get a blue shirt.
In RL, I think they chose the shirt that fit the front person more. Like May looks always good in blue. And the maroon color fits Maddie's skintone alot. __________________

 She was nine when they told her not to tell anyone. I think they also said things that made her even more scared to bring it up and it stuck with her. __________________

Maddie is older than buck and Daniel. But she should have said something cause she hurt him too, he’s going to wonder if she is Lying to him and he’s going to feel betrayed by her.

Yeah it will, maddie should have told buck and you could see the hurt in bucks eyes when maddie told him about daniel,
