I'm still not going to get over Maddie quitting. Why wouldn't she take a LoA or something? A hiatus. :( I knew there was something wrong though. You could definitely tell.

I'm not sure I like how Buck and Taylor are starting things up again.. I never really liked her. Even if she did start to help. She just irks me.

Loved how Athena went into the burning building herself to save Bobby and bring down the sniper. I also liked how her and Bobby had previously apologized to each other and were talking a bit.

Great point about Eddie being sidelined this season. I do agree with that. Maybe we'll get more follow up next season. That happened a little with Athena and her trauma.

I really hope so. I think based on the last scene when Albert became a firefighter, I think they will just ignore it. :(

I just figured it was because of the pandemic, and shooting and they had to concentrate on certain characters more than others. Eddie was the face of last week's episode, If it was any other season. We might have gotten more of the hospital. Or Maddie checking in on her brother, And they had to deal with Bobby and Athena, and then show Maddie in crisis.

They were focused on how Buck was dealing with it, and how he rushes into everything and this time, made a target of himself on purpose.

But there would have been so much they could have done. But I loved Buck and Eddie's scenes together.

Hopefully next season is a more normal season.

Yeah, I think the shorter season was a part of it. But I also think if they spent less time with side characters they could have focused more on the regulars.

I just wish we could have gotten at least more of it with Eddie in the hospital. Like make it 50/50 with Buck and Eddie with dealing with the shooting. That would have made me more happy with the storyline.

Yeah, it is sad to see Maddie quit her job. I hope when she gets better she will go back to it though. :sigh:

I totally agree with you about Buck and Taylor. They were my least favorite part of the episode.

And yes. Athena saving her man in the burning building. It was such a good scene.

At the end, why did didn’t Eddie have his sling on.

The home coming, Ana didn’t look like she belonged there, a kiss on the cheek doesn’t say a lot about their relationship

Probably a long time jump? I imagine it would take a while for Albert to get into the program and then complete it?

meraki 05-27-2021 12:12 PM

Yeah, I think it is a long time jump too. Not a fan of that tbh.

I was crying with Buck as he told Christopher about Eddie

meraki 05-29-2021 12:10 AM

Yeah, it was a hard scene. But also a very good scene.

Sydney Collins 05-31-2021 09:00 AM

I loved how both Buck and Athena said to Eddie and Bobby I got you, they both had their backs.

Another thing I found weird was one second ana was there then she was gone, it was like the moment buck got there that was all Eddie cared about

meraki 05-31-2021 10:03 AM

Yeah, she just went missing after Buck arrived at the hospital.

Artemis 06-01-2021 08:01 AM

Probably knew to go "get coffee" at that point.

That Buck and Christopher scene was SO EMOTIONAL. Props to Oliver and Gavin.

meraki 06-01-2021 12:24 PM

Yeah, she knew she had to leave the alone for a while.

They really did good. :sigh: And when Chris was teasing Buck with his snoring. :sigh:

Artemis 06-01-2021 04:29 PM

I love Christopher teasing Buck. A little humor in the moment.

madness 06-03-2021 01:13 AM

The amount of gifsets I've seen of Christopher teasing and being sassy with both Eddie and Buck..... I die.

meraki 06-03-2021 11:01 AM

^He sure got that from Eddie.

Made this gifset last week.
