Yes! Athena is so great.

One of my favorite storylines with her is in season 2 when she mets the boy who called 9-1-1 when he notice that his "dad" has taken in another boy that he later find out was kidnapped. It also came out that he also was kidnapped when he was younger. The way she helped them and the way she spoke to him at the end of the episode just makes me emotional.

It's such a good storyline and just shows how wonderful she is at her job, just sensing something wasn't right and wanting to do right by these boys.

A black female cop who doesn't need anyone telling her what she's doing wrong and just going beyond what's expected of her. Bless Athena.

^ That was such a great episode, and she was badass as usual.

The most satisfying thing is honestly seeing Athena kicking ass and arresting those damn pricks in the end. That guy is particular was awful, ugh.

I love badass!Athena. She lives up to her namesake.

Powerful woman. Can be calm as needed, but will take names and kick ass as needed.
