yeah it was weird to carry it around.

just too busy these days

we need a new thread!

Hi, Tracy! Okay, I hope you get both bulbs then. :)

Well, I've had to carry weirding things around than a plunger.

Yeah, I know. I understand. I miss the days when I wasn't so busy and I could just enjoy the day. :(

Rita took care of that.

Oh, and Happy International Women's Day!

wickedrum 03-08-2024 06:38 PM

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, Tracy. Well, at least Easter isn't that far away, March 31st.

You're welcome, Rita! By the way, Dave wanted me to ask you if you'd be interested in joining us for a trivia game on the Heroes board? :)

yeah we do have an early Easter. 4 days off! hell yeah!

i'll be going to NYC a few days in April. i'm planning here and there in between all the crazy life and work stuff. trying to find accommodation with reasonable pricing.

wickedrum 03-10-2024 07:19 AM

Easter! Can’t wait.

NYC can be tricky. Most important is to be safe.

Ah, the old trivia game. Might be hard to find participants these days. Plus it does take longer than 10 mins in earnest, reading and discussing everything, coming up with questions. Can you guarantee the swiftness? :look:
Also, I’m doing nothing with Harry Potter given how hateful the author is. Can you take the universe off the list?

Yep. :) I'm not a fan of Easter in March, but I'm glad you have four days off.

Okay, have fun in NYC, Tracy! I hope you can find a place with a reasonable price. :)

Yep, I love Easter as well. :) Easter and St. Patrick's Day, because they're the harbingers of spring. :sun: I don't like Easter being in March, though, but I just hope it'll be warm.

I've never been to NYC.

Yep. :) Well, Dave is organizing it, and like he said, it only takes 5-7 minutes to play. Each person just chooses five characters from popular culture, and then you ask each of the other players two trivia questions about any two of the characters that they've chosen. :) It doesn't take long.

Well, the Harry Potter characters were just an example, Rita. :) It's not on any list or anything. You can ignore those if you prefer.

wickedrum 03-10-2024 07:35 PM

I only care about Easter because of the time off as well ;)

Alex, I will probably join you but I do know from my own experience of the game that it takes a lot longer than that.

MsPerfectionist 03-10-2024 07:53 PM

u guys are right Easter and St. Patrick's Day bring spring. it's just different for me  we still get snow until April. Maple taffy is the taste of spring to me.

wickedrum 03-10-2024 09:14 PM

Primark isn’t as good as it used to be, not much variety lately

canflam 03-11-2024 02:57 PM

I want to visit somewhere it snows in July. Did you catch any of The Oscars yesterday? I did not.

wickedrum 03-11-2024 03:01 PM

aww that's sad. but i'll still check it out. the last time i was at a Primark in the US (there are none in Canada), i thought it's just not the same as the European ones. Less of the licensed stuff, not as cool, must be different contracts. There are no Canadian equivalent to Primark.
