Yes she indeed was. She had tough teaching methods, but she was a pretty interesting character nonetheless __________________

I thought she had a tough love kind of teaching, she saw the potential and wanted them to thrive, sort of like trying to prepare them all for what was to come

A great villain who served her purpose of pushing Yennefer forward. The first time in a while where I've seen an antagonist actually be used for plot purposes rather than just being whacked in there for effect.

I never saw her as a villain.
If anything, I see the Nilfgaard as the villains. Quote:

I don't consider her a villain either. She was a harsh teacher, but it wasn't out of cruelty or spite, and she helps fight against Nilfgaard, even going as far as defying the Brotherhood to do so. Good is not necessarily nice. Plenty of people think Yennefer is just a selfish biatch. They're both complex characters.

She's not a villain per se but I recognise abuse when I see it.

^ She is very impressive
Because I didn't like the character at first, but as the story went I could see that there was more to the character and that's in great part because of the portray of the actress __________________
