Well I believe at least that in the Katy Keene comics, I don't think Josie was in it. She had her own of Josie and the Pussycats... in which Alexander, Alexandra, Pepper Smith, and Alan M. Mayberry were apart of. So that makes me think they kind of combined those comics with Katy Keene, for this show.
From what I had read, in the Katy Keene ones also that Ginger was a girl and I don't think Ginger was an alter ego of Jorge. Cuz I don't know if there was a character named Jorge?

And Katy has a sister who was called "Sis".

Thanks for the info. Makes sense they would take some liberties with it, most shows usually do that are based on books or comics.

I'm wondering why they made Pepper a friend of Katy's instead. Since I read in the comics that Pepper was the best friend of Josie.
