Nikole oh no! so sorry to hear

Well my dads Covid today took a turn for the worst. He ended up in the hospital! The Covid is basically worsening his already heart failure, and causing basically crystals to appear in his lungs. He’s very sick, and at this point they sent us home and said if treatment doesn’t work, then it’s basically ventilator… we are scared to death! We are gonna try everything we can to try and get him better, I just hope it’s not to late. On top of that, a big snowstorm hit us and we were stuck on the road for 3hrs trying to get my dad, for a drive that usually only takes 10 min! Between the snowy roads and my dad, I’m just done for.

Still taking it a day at a time. He’s not feeling so good today with his oxygen.

He’s still about the same, he’s getting frustrated now because he’s so over being in bed. We are gonna try and sit him downstairs in the sun on the couch. See if a change of scenery helps him.

How’s everyone’s week going so far?

Fine just the normal work for 4 hrs for 3 days.

That’s not bad!

I’m sick with worry here, my dad feels like if he goes to sleep he’s never going to wake up again. My mom and I are scared to death!

It’s just been a bad day. My uncle (my dads brother) did speak with my
Dad though, and he managed to calm the whole situation. He also filled my mom and I with peace, so that we can get him through this. Because he’s scared to sleep at night, we decided we are just gonna take shifts, or stay up all night for a few days to get him through the worst of it. Because he just watches his oxygen levels all night, and won’t go to sleep.
